Here’s something interesting that popped through my letterbox yesterday, inserted into the sleeve of a “Langley Park” LP.
It’s an unused application for a storecard, signed by Paddy and Wendy. You can only guess at the circumstances, but probably they were out shopping and were accosted by a fan who grabbed the nearest piece of paper they could found for a signature.
I’m a sucker for ephemera anyway, and this ticks all the boxes. The form itself – in pristine condition – is probably rarer than the signatures. Anyone got any ideas where the “Jacques Chirac” shop was?
