We’re now approaching the half way point in the tour. One hotel is merging into another, check out following check in and no time to unpack properly. And when we close our eyes we see images of motorway lanes dancing before us. In this case it’ll most likely have been the M3 and the M27 that led us to Southampton.
In a lengthy set without much variation, much of the enjoyment is in the unscripted moments. In this recording that centres around a Scottish guy named, we think, Alan, who is very much a Sprout over-enthusiast. So much so that he plants himself in the front row and chats to the taper, loudly, before engaging with Paddy himself. It’s hugely enjoyable.
Tomorrow is a day off. And there will be A COMPETITION.
