Oh my, oh my…

It’s not just astonishing video rarities in the Jane P stash.

There are stupendously ephemeral audio oddities too. Very little of this was archived, so unless there was someone sitting there with a tape in their deck it would have been lost forever.

Here’s one such. Paddy reading the weather on Metro Radio, Newcastle, probably from early 1988.

  1. Would this qualify as Sproutology’s version of, or homage to, a Rick-roll?

We’re all hoping for a fresh forecast of partial, if not Total Snow cued up with Mr. Stewart. (But this madman not-currently-on-your-roof would gratefully accept a few mere demos with his lump of coal…)

    1. The song at the end definitely makes this piece. That, and Paddy pronouncing C and F as “Ka” and “Fa.”
