I was there and have got a tape of this somewhere. Wendy, in a short leather skirt as far as I remember, chatted with people at the front of the hall, and Paddy bemoaned the fact that ‘Pipes of Peace’ was number 1 and not ‘Don’t Sing’. Dave Ruffy got a big cheer which drew the response from Paddy that ‘you haven’t heard him yet!’.
