A recording of this concert exists, sourced from a cassette bootleg. Most copies of this appear to run about 8% fast.

Issued as CD Fanzine #7 — Live at Portsmouth Guildhall in May 1990 (minus Michael and a few other tracks), same 8% speed increase as cassette bootleg, sound not as good.

“I’ve seen them perform four times (90 x2 and 99x 2). All the shows have been great but I always feel that the first show I saw which was Portsmouth was the best one. The band looked great and the production/sound was fantastic (at least through the uncritical eyes of a fan that had been counting the days to the show).

“My best memories were of the first track “Michael” – I really loved the opening with the flame lighting effect and it was my favourite song on Jordan at the time, Paddy messing up his lines on Goodbye Lucille and the expression on this face when he released he would have to repeat the same line again “Why don’t you give it a rest…Why don’t you give it a rest again…” and the performance of “The King Of Rock And Roll” (Paddy:”Hey, it’s Top of the Pops!”) and the impromptu “Technique” riffing when a fan called out for it.

“I’ve said in the previous post I made that I was lucky enough to meet the band (we were waiting for the AA to come out on my old banger and decided to hang about the back door – there was only a couple of other people there) – had a great chat with all of them who seemed in no hurry to leave (as I remember Neil was driving them in some 4×4) and got my Jordan program signed by them all.”
